"Christmas at the Train Station" a big success!
Saturday, January 1, 2022

After having to cancel last year's "Christmas at the Train Station" events, people were anxious to help Historic Georgetown Association celebrate this Christmas season. Approximately 250-300 adults and children showed up over the three day event. Santa was visited by a total of over 90 children, as they shared with him their Christmas wishes and received a gift packet. Boy Scout Troop 95 assisted HGA volunteers and the final event on Saturday, December 18 was catered by Marilyn's Catering. A special thanks goes out to Grace Choir of Georgetown and to Tim Sweetman of the Millsboro Chick fil A for supplying chocolate chip cookies and little Chick fil A cows for the children. HGA wants to thank those who volunteered over the course of the three events and we appreciate the public's support as we celebrate this Holy time of the year.
